The Christian Association of Youth Mentoring
Our mission is to train and support churches and ministries in developing safe and effective mentoring programs for our fatherless and our motherless youth.

The youth and their families
It is evident that our youth and families are in crisis. Too many of our children grow up without fathers or even mothers. But there is hope. The church can make a powerful difference in the lives of our youth and their families through mentoring.

Making a difference
Mentored youth are:

  • 27% less likely to start using alcohol
  • 46% less likely to start using drugs
  • 50% less likely to skip school

The Christian Mentoring Institute (CMI) is the training arm of CAYM. They help churches and organizations to start, maintain and grow their mentoring ministries to our most vulnerable youth, the fatherless and the motherless children in our communities.  Our CMI training is working with David Parsons/Youth Mentoring to provide the knowledge and materials to help Christians start or continue to develop life transforming ministries.
